About Vega

Meet Vega, a spirited 8-year-old brindle Boxer weighing in at 70 pounds. Don't let his age fool you; Vega has the energy of a puppy and is always ready for an adventure. This affectionate boy loves activities, training, and of course, treats! He’s eager to bond with a human who enjoys an active lifestyle and can keep pace with his zest for life. While he enjoys being social, Vega is selective about his dog friends and prefers slow intros. For safety, he’s not suitable for homes with cats or small animals due to his strong prey drive. He thrives best with older kids who can handle his lively demeanor, ensuring everyone has a fun, safe experience. Vega has made significant progress in his behavior. He’s no longer crate reactive and has mastered leash skills, walking perfectly at heel without the need for a gentle leader. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, ready to bring joy and laughter to your home. Currently fostered in Zuni, VA, Vega can be transported out of state if you’re his person (transport fees may apply). If you’re looking for an athletic, loving, and downright humorous companion for your outdoor adventures, look no further. Fill out an application today and start a wonderful journey with Vega!
