About Lorenzo aka Enzo

Meet Lorenzo, also known as Enzo. This charming little guy is a 9 to 10-year-old Toy Australian Shepherd who craves the kind of love and attention that only an admirer can provide. He thrives on affection, eagerly seeking cuddles, pets, and companionship. Whether it’s sleeping beside you or going for leisurely walks, Enzo is your ultimate cuddle buddy. He’s quite the intelligent dog, quickly picking up on walking routes and alerting you when he’s ready to head home. Although he had some early mishaps during his transition to foster care, Enzo learned the routine and is now house trained. Enzo's ideal home would have someone around most of the time, as he struggles with separation anxiety and is not fond of being crated. Having another dog around could ease his worries, so he’ll feel secure in a calm environment. Enzo can be a bit selective when it comes to men. He may bark, nip, or freeze when feeling uncomfortable, so slow introductions are advised. His behavior around cats and children is still an unknown, but with the right family that respects his boundaries, he can thrive. Currently, Enzo is undergoing treatment for Lyme disease but is otherwise healthy, with good hearing and vision. He has a moderate energy level and enjoys wet food and freeze-dried treats, being somewhat particular about his meals. Enzo is not after a casual relationship; he’s ready to be your dedicated shadow and best friend. Provide him with love and patience, and he will return it tenfold. Ready to meet your new best friend?
