Meet Violet. Violet is a lovely senior lady, around 13 years old, and weighs about 45 pounds. Although she is blind, this clever girl quickly familiarizes herself with her home and navigates confidently once she knows her environment. Her favorite pastimes are simple and heartwarming: cozy cuddles, leisurely strolls to sniff out new scents, long naps, and making new friends. She has a friendly demeanor and greets everyone she meets with warmth. Violet is both housetrained and crate trained, which makes her an easy addition to any household. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive best in a calm, quiet setting where she can relax and enjoy her golden years. While she is on thyroid medication for life, she carries her age gracefully and is eager to give and receive love. If you’re searching for a sweet soul to pamper with love, soft beds, tasty treats, and continuous affection, Violet is ready to be spoiled in her retirement years. Is yours the forever home she’s been waiting for? Violet is currently being fostered in Houston, TX, and is available for adoption locally or out of state. If adopted out of state, she’ll come to her new home via professional transport. Ready to take the next step?
