Floyd is a 4-year-old male Domestic Long Hair in Long Beach, CA, ready to melt hearts with his charming black coat. While he is altered and up to date on vaccinations, Floyd needs patience as he transitions to indoor life. He is small in size, perfect for a cozy spot on your lap or a sunny window perch. This gentle soul is eager for a loving home, whether solo or with feline friends.

About Floyd

Floyd wants to become a cozy house cat! This striking boy was initially labeled as "feral" after coming from a large outdoor colony, which he lived in until the caretaker sadly passed away. With 15-20 cats left behind, Floyd was slated to go to a barn this fall after his TNR (trap-neuter-return), but being in a safe environment has changed everything for him. He’s shown his true colors as a lovable companion who just needed time to build trust with humans. His fluffy black mane, bright eyes, and handsome jowls are captivating. While he may start off shy, a little hand-fed treat and soft scratches can turn him into a teddy bear eager for affection. Floyd is great with other cats; he hasn’t hissed or made a fuss at newcomers in his temporary catio. He coexists peacefully, making him a great candidate for a home with another kitty or two. However, he would thrive just as well as the solo prince of your heart, as long as he's shown patience and love. Let Floyd show you the beauty of true companionship. What are you waiting for?
