About Charlie

Charlie is a young male Terrier with a sweet disposition, weighing about 13 lbs. He came to the rescue after being surrendered with five other dogs and narrowly escaped euthanasia. After receiving treatment for kennel cough, he’s now thriving in his foster home. Affectionate and loving, Charlie enjoys cuddling in laps and follows his foster mom around. He’s a bit shy and nervous around men and new sounds, but once he warms up, he reveals his playful side. He loves to nap, chew on rawhides, and occasionally has a burst of energy during fetch games. Although he’s not fully potty trained yet, he typically waits to go outside and tries to use puppy pads when needed. Charlie is still getting used to leash walks and can be hesitant to eat, especially in the mornings. With patience and encouragement, he’s bound to become a loyal companion. Charlie doesn’t get along with young children, but he is friendly with dogs. If you’re ready for a loving pup who requires some extra understanding while gaining confidence, Charlie may be the one for you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
