About Spice

Spice is a lively 2-year-old miniature Schnauzer who was rescued along with his brothers in Mississippi. These dogs spent their early days outside, leading to some matting, but they are now getting the care they deserve. Spice is a small dog, weighing in at 14 pounds. After being groomed, vaccinated, and neutered, he’s all set for adoption. His treatment for heartworm is currently underway and will continue at the rescue in Waitsfield, VT. This requires him to be fostered or adopted locally. Spice has a friendly demeanor and is easy to handle, making him a wonderful companion. While he will need some assistance with house-training and leash-training, he is sure to adapt quickly with the right environment. He gets along well with other dogs, further enhancing his appeal. If you’re interested in giving Spice a loving home, please complete an application with Champlain Valley Canine Rescue. This could be the start of something wonderful.
