About Bodie Girl
Meet Bodie Girl, a delightful Boxer and Lab mix who weighs 26 lbs and is estimated to be around 1 year old. Her journey started in a difficult place, as she was found starving inside a drainage pipe in Sunnyside, Houston. Despite her rough start, Bodie radiates joy with her wagging tail and hopeful spirit. Her finder initially named her Bodie, thinking she was male, but it has stuck because she embodies that name with every ounce of love she has. Bodie is a medium-sized companion with a big personality. She is affectionate and loves to be around people, making her the perfect cuddle buddy after a long day. Having represented her rescue on television, she has proven to be well-behaved in public and adores adventures, excitedly hopping in the car for trips that might lead to her favorite pup cups. This sweet girl enjoys the company of other dogs and loves to frolic with her furry friends. Bodie is kennel trained and is getting the hang of potty training as she eases into home life. She's also great with cats and kids. After everything she's been through, Bodie's capacity for love and trust is remarkable. Now she’s ready for a loving home where she'll be cherished. Bodie deserves to know the comfort of a soft bed and a full bowl of food. If you think you could be the one to offer her that forever home, apply today!
