About Meteor Beam

Meet Meteor Beam, a gentle gray tuxedo boy with the softest medium-length fur and striking hazel green eyes. He’s just shy of six months old and bursting with playful kitten energy, navigating his way through the early stages of life indoors. Rescued alongside his siblings from a tough outdoor start, Meteor has taken time to warm up to humans, but the love and gentle coaxing from his foster family have made a world of difference. Meteor has a shy disposition, especially around new people and pets. Born to a feral mother, he learned early on that caution is key. He’s selective with his humans and usually chooses a favorite to trust fully. Don't be surprised if he treats others in the household as “spare humans.” However, when you earn his trust, you'll discover a playful little love bug ready for snuggles and playtime. Meteor thrives on interactive activities like wand play and laser chasing, relishing each game of fetch with his Nerf balls. He appreciates a cozy nook, such as a cat cave or tree, where he can retreat and collect his thoughts. A calm, cat-savvy home is ideal for him — preferably one without dogs or young children. While he's shy, he enjoys the company of other cats, often seeking out a companion for wrestling and cuddling, though he occasionally needs space. His perfect home will respect his boundaries and be patient as he continues to learn about human affection. Meteor is litterbox trained and adapts well to various scratching posts. Neutered, FELV tested, and up-to-date on vaccinations, he’s ready for his forever home. If you think you can appreciate this hidden gem and help him shine, apply today to meet him in his foster home.
