Meet Gidget, a delightful 2-year-old Shih Tzu, weighing just 9 lbs. She joined Wish Bone after her previous owner faced a serious health issue. Gidget is already housetrained and gets along well with other dogs, making her a great addition to any home. Her favorite activities include taking scenic walks, enjoying car rides, and following her foster mom around. Food is another passion—she happily assists her canine friends with their meals. Gidget came to the rescue in need of proper grooming, arriving quite matted, but she’s now looking fabulous after her makeover. She may take a day or two to warm up to new faces, but once she does, you'll find her to be a sweet and loyal companion. Her minimum adoption fee is $350, plus a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents. Gidget has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, and she’s on flea and heartworm preventatives. Think you can give Gidget the loving home she deserves? What are you waiting for?
