About Leo
Leo is a charming young dog ready for adoption. This happy-go-lucky guy is incredibly friendly and doesn’t know a stranger. He gets along well with other dogs and cats, showing no reactivity to wildlife in the yard. Leo is low maintenance; he is house and crate trained, doesn’t whine, and is content to hang out in or out of his crate. A natural on the leash, Leo enjoys car rides, splashing in water, and playing with toys. Although he has experienced some rough moments in his past—evidenced by his occasional cowering at quick movements or loud noises—this does not dampen his sweet nature. Leo is affectionate and loves being around people. He knows basic commands like sit and shake, and he is food motivated, making him responsive to training. At approximately 1 year old and weighing around 50 pounds, Leo is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He does have an old leg malformation that doesn’t cause him pain, and though future arthritis is a possibility, it has not yet affected his active lifestyle. Leo’s adoption fee is $300, and he is currently fostered in Texas but can be transported for adoption out of state. Ready to experience unconditional love with Leo? Hit apply and let’s get started.
