About Leo

Meet Leo, a truly affectionate guy who's ready to find his forever home! This young Pit Bull Terrier is full of energy and love, making him a great companion for just about anyone. Leo is dog friendly and enjoys playing with toys, even if he occasionally entertains himself by tossing them around. He's also cat friendly and seems indifferent to squirrels and birds, displaying a calm demeanor in the yard. Leo is house and crate trained and adapts well to being in or out of a crate without fuss. He walks wonderfully on a leash, behaves well in the car, and is always eager to join in on playtime, especially if there's water involved. While he does have some past trauma that makes him sensitive to fast movements and loud noises, he shows no aggression whatsoever. His sweet personality shines through even during such moments. At approximately 1 year old and weighing around 50 pounds, Leo is neutered, fully vetted, and up to date on all vaccinations, making him ready for adoption. He has a malformation in his front leg from a past injury, but it doesn’t cause him pain, and he uses it without issues. He will likely need some extra love as he grows older to help with potential arthritis, but he is otherwise a healthy, happy pup. If you think you can give Leo the loving home he deserves, don’t hesitate to reach out! Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
