About Leo
Meet Leo, the Love Bug, who’s ready for adoption! This friendly guy is a cheerful and sociable companion who doesn’t shy away from anyone. Leo is great with dogs and enjoys a lively game of fetch, even if it means tossing the toy to himself. He's also cat-friendly and remains calm around squirrels and birds. Leo is low maintenance; he is both house and crate trained, and he adapts well to being in or out of his crate. He walks beautifully on a leash and is a pleasant car rider. Playtime is a joy for him, whether with toys or splashing around in water. Despite occasional fears—likely stemming from past mistreatment—Leo’s gentle spirit shines through. He knows basic commands like sit, shake, and down, and is eager to learn new tricks. We recommend a slow feeder for him, as he tends to gulp down his food. Even though he's still young and a bit mouthy when excited, he is incredibly sweet and affectionate. Leo is about 1 year old and weighs around 50 pounds. He’s neutered, fully vetted, and microchipped. Due to a previous leg injury, Leo has a malformation in his front leg, but it doesn’t hinder his play or cause him pain. He is resilient and adapts well to his situation. OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE.
