About Chickie

Meet Chickie! This beautiful girl is approximately 2.5 to 3.5 months old and weighs around 20 to 25 lbs. While we can't predict exactly how big she will get, we suspect she's likely to become a larger dog, probably over 50 lbs, possibly a Shepherd mix. She was found wandering and has been waiting for a chance since September, filled with potential despite her rough start. Chickie is a happy young pup eager to learn about her new world. She’ll need a patient family to help her transition from shelter life to a loving home. Her new family will need to continue working on potty training, basic obedience, and socialization. Chickie has a playful personality and needs a family willing to provide her with both physical and mental stimulation. She adores other dogs, which could help her adapt, but she could also thrive as the only dog if her family is committed to ensuring she gets plenty of attention. While she has not been formally tested with cats, she may do well with proper introductions, given her young age. Chickie has had limited exposure to children, so respectful older kids who can handle a lively puppy may be the best fit. A home with a securely fenced yard is ideal, but apartments could be considered if her exercise needs are met. Remember, adopting a puppy means committing to her growth into a well-rounded adult dog. With structure, training, and love, Chickie could become an incredible lifelong companion. Let’s help her leave behind the shelter life for a loving home where she belongs. Chickie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and her transport is included in the adoption fee of $650. She’s ready for her forever family!
