About Maverick

Meet Maverick, also known as Lucky! He's a small dog with a bold personality, believing he's the king of his castle. Maverick thrives in a calm home, where life is steady, and he can feel secure. He takes his role seriously, and he won’t hesitate to express his opinions about visitors, so he needs an adopter who understands that behind his bravado is a little pup who sometimes needs reassurance. Maverick prefers to keep all four paws on the ground. He isn't fond of being picked up, so it’s crucial to respect his needs and let him choose when to approach. His new family should be comfortable managing introductions and setting boundaries to help him feel safe. The good news? He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company, as long as they remember he’s the one in charge. Maverick doesn’t require a busy social life; he simply needs someone who will appreciate him for who he is. If you're ready for a loyal companion and pint-sized ruler, Maverick might just be the perfect fit for you. Click apply to start the adoption process.
