About Amos
Meet Amos, a sweet 4-year-old mixed breed dog, weighing around 15 lbs. He came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and is now ready for a loving forever home after receiving the care he deserves. Amos recently underwent FHO surgery on his left hip, likely due to a past injury, and he's recovering well, with about 85-90% usage of that leg. Though he'd prefer to be your only dog, his charming and curious personality more than makes up for it. Amos is a snuggle bug who thrives on attention and enjoys learning new tricks. In his temporary foster home, he was quite the gentleman—friendly to everyone and well-mannered. He's currently in the Mostly Mutts University training program and already knows commands like 'sit', 'stay', and 'come'. Amos loves exploring the outdoors, but his strong prey drive means he's best suited for a home without other pets. Amos is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He’s excited to find a family that can continue his training and shower him with affection. If you think he might be a fit for your family, let’s schedule a meet-and-greet. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
