He enjoys leisurely walks around the neighborhood and along easy trails, relishing the smells and sights while meeting new friends. This lovely boy is both house- and crate-trained, and he rides well in the car. Choco takes treats gently and is learning important commands like "sit" and "stay" as well as how to greet new people politely. He'll thrive in a medium-energy home where he can enjoy relaxed strolls and companionship, all while improving his leash skills and good manners. Choco gets along with other dogs and is learning to interact calmly with his foster siblings. Most importantly, he loves being around his humans, soaking up attention, head scratches, and belly rubs. Choco's cheerful personality and laid-back approach to life create a joyful presence ideal for a loving forever family. Choco is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and microchipped, but he is currently receiving heartworm treatment, which requires limited activity until completion. He will also need regular skin and ear care. Choco's previous owner faced health issues, but now he’s ready for a new start.
