About August

August is a lovely mixed breed dog who brings all the cozy fall vibes. She loves to play in the crisp autumn air or cuddle up when it gets chilly. Previously, she lived with another dog and is open to joining homes with or without canine companions. However, August is currently being treated for kennel cough, so she needs a home without other dogs until her medications are complete in about a week. If you're interested in meeting August, she’s currently at our Wantagh location. Be sure to submit an online application, and our team will reach out to discuss the adoption process. Remember, all our animals are spayed, microchipped, and updated on vaccines before going to their new homes. Your next adventure could start with August. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
