Meet Sammie! She’s a 5-year-old miniature Dachshund who came to us after her previous owner could no longer care for her. Unfortunately, she spent too much time in an unsanitary environment, but after several baths, she is now clean and looking for a loving home. While her legs and underside show signs of yellow staining from urine, these will fade as she adjusts to her new life. Sammie is sweet and friendly, getting along well with both dogs and cats. She might benefit from a refresher course in house training, but she’s eager to establish a routine. Once adopted, she’ll be spayed, and her new family must bring her to her appointment.
