Liko is a young female mixed breed dog, approximately 1 year and 4 months old. She is a medium-sized dog with a lovely yellow/tan coat. Liko is house trained, spayed, and vaccinated. Located in Chattanooga, TN, she is looking for her forever home where she can truly thrive and be loved.

About Liko

Liko’s journey is one of resilience and promise. Nearly two years ago, she and her family were rescued from a horrific situation, barely escaping attempts on their young lives. Despite her traumatic beginnings, Liko faced the world with courage, adapting and learning to trust those around her. She was recently returned to our care, an all-too-frequent reminder of the struggles many pets endure. Though initially shy with newcomers, once Liko makes a connection, she becomes a steadfast companion. This playful young lady loves to bask in the sun, go for hikes, and indulge in fun activities like splashing around in her doggy pool. Known as "Mayhem" by her foster family for her quirky antics, she often entertains herself and those around her with her playful spirit. Liko is well-trained — she’s crate trained, potty trained, and knows commands like sit, stay, and down. She walks beautifully on a leash and thrives in a structured environment filled with loving people. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she flourishes best as the only dog in the home. She’s fine with cats and would appreciate older children who can respect her energetic personality and space. More than anything, Liko deserves a forever family that understands her journey and is ready to open their hearts to her. After everything she has faced, she longs for a place where she won’t have to question her belonging. Liko is currently in foster care, eagerly waiting for her next chapter to begin.
