About Buster

Meet Buster, a sweet and unique mixed-breed dog who is looking for a loving home. He arrived in rescue after his previous owner went into a nursing home and faced a tough life chained outside. Now, he’s ready for a fresh start. Buster has a shy nature and will need a patient adopter who understands that he may take time to decompress. He’s good with other dogs, making him a great addition to a calm home. A household with older kids who can respect his small stature and gentler demeanor would suit him best—no toddlers or rowdy young ones, please! Estimated to be around two years old and weighing about 15 lbs, Buster is looking for a family who will cherish him. Currently in Alabama, we hope to bring him to Maine in early November. If you have the right environment and the patience he needs, consider applying for Buster today!
