About River

River is a gentle heart full of charm, with hound dog opinions that make her all the more endearing. This lovely girl can be a bit timid around unfamiliar situations, but underneath the nerves lies a sweet soul who just needs time to adjust. She loves to explore her surroundings, often putting her nose to work while providing her own delightful commentary. For the best fit, River would thrive in a caring environment where her family is patient and willing to help her build confidence. She's still mastering the art of leash walking and will benefit from consistent, gentle training. A quieter, predictable home will help her feel secure and allow her to take her time learning about the world around her. Currently, we haven't assessed how she interacts with other dogs or cats, so those introductions will need to be taken slowly and carefully. While she may need a bit of extra love, River is a lovable companion waiting to shine with your guidance. Click apply to start the adoption process.
