About Elsa
Elsa is a vibrant 2-year-old Terrier mix, weighing around 12 pounds. After being adopted for eight months, she’s back with us and ready for a new start. This little lady loves to play and snuggle, often stealing the spotlight with her playful antics. However, Elsa does best as the only "child" in the home due to her jealousy towards kids. She can exhibit behavioral issues, such as having accidents in their spaces or nipping, if she feels threatened. Elsa enjoys sunbathing, cuddly stuffed toys, and treats—peanut butter is a particular favorite. Although she loves her walks, she needs to work on her leash manners, as she can be a tripping hazard. She's also a bit fearful and nervous around men and loud noises, needing time to warm up to strangers. This little gem knows how to sit and enjoys grooming. Her adoption fee is $150, which includes her spay, current vaccinations, heartworm test, deworming, flea prevention, and microchipping. Sandusky County residents will also need to purchase a dog license for an additional $21. To meet Elsa, visit the Humane Society of Sandusky County Monday through Friday from 1 PM to 4:30 PM, and Saturday from 1 PM to 3:30 PM. After your visit, you'll be eligible to apply for her adoption, though same-day adoptions aren’t available. There’s also a $10 non-refundable application fee. Pay her a visit and discover a potential new best friend!
