About Pekoe
Meet Pekoe, an adorable rescue kitten located in central Ohio. At just around 5 months old, this charming boy is dressed in sleek black fur with a little white patch on his chest, and he's looking to fill the important role of Someone’s Beloved Forever Cat. Pekoe brings a unique blend of qualities to the table. He has an expert-level cuteness that’s hard to resist, a playful spirit that shines when he feels secure, and a sweet personality behind a shy exterior. He’s not the type to rush up to strangers; new faces can make him anxious. Therefore, he would thrive best in a calm environment with a patient, cat-savvy owner who understands that building trust takes time. A home without young children or dogs would suit him well, as he hasn't had experience with either. He’s already neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. While Pekoe and his brother Cornbread would love to be adopted together, it isn’t a must. Just remember that kittens generally do best when adopted in pairs, unless a playful young cat is already part of the family. Adopters must have verifiable veterinary history and submit an application before arranging a meet-up. If you’re interested in adding Pekoe or his brother to your home in Ohio, please submit an application through our website. Ready to make this shy guy feel safe in your loving home?
