About Marley

Marley is a fluffy, loving, happy-go-lucky boy who treats everyone like they are his best friend. At just 10 months old, this beautiful Flat-Coated Retriever mix (with some Shepherd characteristics) loves people and food, and he’s a total goofball who enjoys cuddling. Marley is still figuring out fetch, though he loves to play ball. He's currently learning commands such as “come” and “sit” and has a strong desire to please. He came from Puerto Rico to Virginia after an issue with his front leg was discovered at a shelter, and though it is severely atrophied, he is receiving pain management. After his scheduled amputation, Marley is expected to thrive and enjoy a more active puppy life. He needs more than just a family; he needs an adopter who can guide him through this next step.
