About Dixie
Meet Dixie! Dixie is a 3-year-old gentle giant with a big heart and an even bigger goofy smile. This beautiful Lab/Husky mix is ready to enjoy what she calls an early retirement, and honestly, she makes a strong case for it. Fully house-trained, Dixie knows her basic commands like “sit” and “crate.” She adores car rides, long walks, and fetch, but the best moments are those spent chilling on the couch with her people. Dixie wants a companion to share life’s simple pleasures: a leisurely stroll, spontaneous car trips, or cozy Netflix marathons. Social and adaptable, she enjoys doggy daycare and gets along well with other dogs, but she prefers a quieter, more relaxed environment. Dixie is not a fan of cats; she sees them as potential playmates, much to their chagrin. Ideally, she would thrive in a home with older kids or no kids at all. Dixie is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and fully house-trained. She dreams of a peaceful home where she can relax, get plenty of love, and spend her days enjoying her well-earned retirement.
