Pete is a large male adult dog, possibly a Labrador Retriever mix. He is house trained and altered, and he thrives on attention. Currently located in Brunswick, GA, he is ready for a new home where he can share his joy and affection.

About Pete

Pete was surrendered along with his siblings Lucy, Susan, and Edmund. If you're a fan of Narnia, those names might ring a bell. Unfortunately, while all his siblings got adopted, Peter found himself on the sidelines after just a year. His previous family couldn't provide the time and attention he needs, leading to much of his time being spent crated. He still has some room for gentle training but is already housebroken and crate trained. Peter thrives on attention and is eager to share his joy, which sometimes means he might leap up to greet you. This exuberance, especially given his large size at 69 pounds, can take small visitors by surprise, so a meet and greet is essential. His friendly demeanor has allowed him to get along well with other dogs too. If you're interested in making him part of your family, come meet him from 11 to 4, Tuesday through Saturday. He is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on core vaccinations, and has tested negative for heartworms. Becoming part of your life would be a fantastic experience for both of you.
