Meet Chip, a charming 2-year-old Australian Shepherd and Chocolate Lab mix ready to join your family. Weighing in at around 45 lbs, he's a delightful blend of brains and affection with his striking chocolate and cream coat. Chip is a true people-pleaser, always eager for a game of fetch and full of affection. He gets along well with most dogs, though he can be selective about his playmates and isn't fond of cats, so it's best to keep those whiskered friends away. Once Chip feels at home, he plays wonderfully with other dogs and loves running around in the yard. Smart and trainable, he comes from a background where he had to fend for himself. Despite that tough start, Chip remains gentle and trusting, always ready to learn. He keeps his kennel clean but may need finishing touches on his housetraining; he's quick to pick things up. He enjoys tasks, whether it’s fetching a ball or showing off his leash manners. Chip has a spirit for adventure. Whether riding in the car with his head out the window or exploring the ranch, he brings joy to every moment. After overcoming heartworm treatment, he’s now neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Ideal for an active, loving family, Chip is ready to reward your affection with loyalty and endless fun. He's looking for someone who understands him and will provide the patience he needs to fully settle into his new home. Ready to bring Chip home? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
