Mama Poppi is ready for her turn after spending months caring for her puppies. Found as a stray on a farm in northeast Alabama, she quickly became a beloved companion there. Though she came to the farm with raw experiences, she developed a close bond with her foster, who she happily greets every time they return home. Poppi is loyal and affectionate but may need some time to adjust to new people and environments. Around 3 to 4 years old, she's shown a curious nature toward other dogs but has been a bit defensive during introductions. For now, she would thrive best as the only adult dog in the house, though she absolutely adores puppies and may welcome a younger dog once she's settled. She enjoys neighborhood walks and behaves well on a leash, and she’s house trained. However, she does have a tendency to chase cars and squirrels, so careful supervision is essential. A secure, fenced yard would enhance her enjoyment of outdoor time. Poppi is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find her forever home—ideally with a patient family who can help her gain confidence. She’s enthusiastic about cuddles and is looking for the love she deserves.
