About Jill
Jill is a gentle Miniature Pinscher with a wish for tranquility—a cozy bed, soft blankets, and time to build trust with her new family. At around five years old, she has been spayed and has a clean bill of health, being heartworm negative. Treats and stuffed toys bring her joy, and she finds solace in her kennel, often choosing to relax inside even when the door is open. Having come from a breeding situation, Jill is understandably wary of new faces and needs a patient adopter who can offer her a quiet, adult-only environment. In her foster home, she has shown progress, slowly warming up to her caregiver after about 48 hours. A home with a retired or stay-at-home person would suit her well, as she thrives on a gentle, predictable routine. Though Jill has a collapsing trachea that causes an occasional cough, she's doing well overall. Her preference for wet food may require long-term management, and her future caregivers will receive guidance on her ongoing care. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping a scared dog learn she can trust again. Could you be the one to give Jill that opportunity?
