About Gretchen

Meet Gretchen, a gentle 14-year-old Chihuahua ready for her forever home. She came to us as a stray, lacking a complete history, yet her sweet nature shines through. Gretchen is an affectionate girl who prefers a warm lap to snuggle in and a cozy spot to rest her head. She doesn’t seek adventures; instead, she enjoys leisurely strolls in the yard and lots of nap times. Despite her age and history, her spirit remains strong. A veterinarian has diagnosed her with several conditions, including dental disease and Cranial Cruciate Ligament Disease, which gives her a distinct limp. She will need daily pain management and a soft food diet to keep her comfortable. Gretchen’s adoption fee is currently waived, allowing us to prioritize finding her a loving, peaceful environment for her golden years. If you have a quiet space in your heart and home, Gretchen might just be the companion you've been waiting for. We've noted that she seems housetrained, as she waits to go outside before doing her business. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
