Joe
AvailableJoe is a young, male mixed-breed dog, classified as medium in size. He’s recognized for his tricolor coat of black, brown, and white, with a short length that gives him a sleek appearance. About Joe
Joe stands right at your knee on a slack leash, frequently glancing back as if to check on your next adventure together. This black and white hound boasts long, soft ears, a distinctive black patch over one eye and ear, a white blaze across his face, and small tan spots above his eyes. His lightly freckled white legs add to his charm, and one ear has a quirky habit of flipping inside out. Sweet and curious, Joe revels in exploring the outdoors. He enjoys discovering new scents on walks and wouldn’t mind sharing his space with another dog, though he could thrive as an only pet too. As a hound, Joe follows his nose, so secure fencing and a leash during walks are essential. He seems to get along with cats, but slow introductions would be prudent since he hasn’t lived with them before. Joe hasn’t been tested with young children, so it’s hard to say how he would adjust to that environment. Meet and greets at the shelter are by appointment to ensure someone is available to connect with you. The shelter operates from Monday to Friday, 12 PM to 4 PM, and outside hours may be possible based on volunteer availability.
