About Penny
Meet Penny, a vibrant 3.5-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix weighing 24 pounds. With her striking black and white coat, she's a little lady bursting with energy and personality. Originally adopted from a local shelter, she thrived in a home with a fenced yard, where she could sprint and play to her heart's content. However, after moving to a senior community, things changed for Penny. Less room to roam and limited exercise led to some leash reactivity. Thankfully, she received professional training and excelled, learning to manage her emotions. Sadly, circumstances changed, and now sheโs searching for her forever home. Penny is playful, affectionate, and eager to join an active family. She loves walks, exploration, and any fun adventure. A fenced yard would be perfect for her to expend her Jack Russell energy. Good with dogs and kids, she would thrive in a home where sheโs included in family activities. However, Penny needs a feline-free environment. Crate trained and familiar with basic commands, she walks decently on a leash and has made great strides in her training. Despite navigating multiple changes, Penny remains joyful and loving, ready to find a family that appreciates her spirited nature and unique quirks. If you think you could be the right fit for this little powerhouse, Penny would love to meet you! Penny is ready for her next chapter. Could you be the forever sheโs been waiting for?
