Sandra explores her surroundings at her own serene pace and has a friendly disposition towards other dogs, which means she could thrive with a canine buddy. However, she's also perfectly content being the only dog, soaking up all the affection from her future family. Currently, Sandra is heartworm positive and cannot be adopted yet. She’s focusing on her health and will begin treatment soon, so her safety and well-being remain a priority. Once she's stable and ready for her forever home, we can't wait to help her find the loving family she deserves. For now, she's where she needs to be: enjoying belly rubs, sharing her sweet smiles, and preparing for a beautiful life ahead.
