About Jax

Meet Jax, a charming 10-year-old Chihuahua weighing in at 14 pounds. He’s looking for a cozy place to settle after a significant life change. Jax was surrendered by his family who could no longer care for him, and now he’s hoping to find another loving home. Although Jax might take a little time to warm up to new people, he quickly shows his affectionate side once he feels secure. His previous family reports that he gets along well with dogs, cats, and children. Because of his age and diabetes, Jax may need more frequent potty breaks and some assistance because he has limited vision, especially when navigating stairs. As a diabetic, Jax will need insulin and continued medical care, so potential adopters should be comfortable with that responsibility. He’s a sweet senior boy who deserves the opportunity to feel safe, loved, and at home once more. Jax knows what it feels like to be part of a family, and we’re eager to help him find that again.
