About Corky

Corky is a neutered male Pit Bull Terrier, who will turn 4 years old in May. He was part of a litter abandoned at city hall in northeast Texas in June 2022. Initially adopted with his sister, their young owners found themselves unable to care for them after a divorce, leading to Corky's return to foster care. Known for his charming curly tail resembling a corkscrew, Corky is an affectionate dog who has a close bond with his foster mom. He needs to be the only dog in the home as he is very animal reactive and does not do well with other animals, aside from his sister. Corky thrives in a quiet environment and would do best in a home without small children. He enjoys going for walks in a harness and responds well to treats, showcasing his intelligence. Fostered in Texas, Corky is looking for a loving home where he can be cherished as the sole pet. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
