About Ritchie

Ritchie is a sweet and energetic three-year-old Pekingese mix looking for a loving forever home. He’s fully house trained and currently fostered with a cat, showing just how adaptable he can be. Ritchie enjoys tug of war, treats, and is utterly devoted to his favorite cat toy. His absolute favorite pastime? Belly rubs! When it comes to walks, he's excellent on a leash and enjoys daily outings. However, he does experience some anxiety, especially about hot cars, so it's important to keep the AC running when traveling. While he is a fast learner, Ritchie may need continued training, particularly as he can be a bit of a bulldozer when playing with smaller dogs. He also exhibits some resource guarding with toys, but he's making progress with this behavior as well. Ritchie is generally great with children and would thrive with a larger dog companion who can match his playful spirit. Adopting Ritchie means giving him the second chance he deserves, and he's eager to share his joy with you. Think you’re the one? Submit an application!
