Miller
AvailableMiller is a male, small-sized, mixed-breed dog, specifically a Toy Poodle. He is an adult and currently not spayed or vaccinated. Miller is in Yellville, AR, and is looking for a patient and committed adopter. His past experiences mean he may need some time to adjust to a new home environment.
About Miller
Miller comes from a challenging puppy mill background and is just starting to discover life outside a cage. Adjusting to new people and experiences is tough for him. He often feels fearful in unfamiliar situations, making socialization and leash walking significant hurdles. This gentle soul isn't suited for homes with young children due to his anxiety, but older, respectful kids who can give him the space he needs might be a good fit. He does get along well with other dogs, which is a plus. It's important for potential adopters to know that Miller, like all dogs from this situation, isn't yet house trained. Patience will be crucial as he learns, and there may be accidents along the way. Everyday experiences can initially feel overwhelming, and secure gates and careful leash handling are essential to keep him safe during this transition. Miller needs someone dedicated to his journey. This wonβt be an overnight transformation; he requires consistent support and understanding. While the timeline for his adjustment is uncertain, thereβs a wonderful dog peeking out from behind that fear. Miller is currently in foster care.
