About Buddy

Buddy came to us from a hoarding case after years spent living on a chain. You might expect a dog with his background to struggle with home life, but Buddy has pleasantly surprised us. He's quickly adapted, mastering the joys he never knew existed. These days, you’ll find Buddy happily curled up on the couch with his people or enjoying a nice walk. His moderate energy means he doesn’t require extensive exercise to feel fulfilled; even a good walk followed by some quality downtime is perfect for him. He gets along well with dogs and children, making him suitable for a variety of homes. While he doesn’t need a super active family or a vast yard, he does seek companionship and love after years of neglect. It’s important to note that Buddy is not cat friendly, so he’ll thrive best in a home without felines. After life at the end of a chain, Buddy is now relishing the life of a cherished companion, enjoying cuddles and comfy spots. Buddy is currently in foster care and not located at our facility.
