About Honey
Honey is a gentle and loving feline looking for a forever home. This petite six-year-old domestic shorthair has a unique, short crooked tail that adds to her charm. Honey weighs in at just seven pounds and has a heartwarming story behind her name. Found as a kitten with a prolapsed rectum, she was on the brink of euthanasia when a caring veterinarian stepped in to save her. After a successful recovery, she became known as Honey, inspired by the sweet treat used during her treatment. Honey relishes the simple joys of life, whether it's playing with her toy mouse or lounging by the window watching birds. In the evenings, she likes to curl up next to her person on the bed. Although she responds to her name and gets along well with gentle handling, she is wary of other cats and would thrive as the only cat in a peaceful, adult-only home. Honey has been an indoor cat her whole life and enjoys a diet of Science Diet dry food and Fancy Feast pâté. If you’re seeking a calm companion who loves to snuggle and enjoys toys, Honey is the perfect match for you. This sweet girl is ready for a loving home where she can feel safe and cherished.
