Meet Cha Cha, a small dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This 12-pound terrier mix, around 5 years old, has transformed from a terrified hoarding survivor to a loving companion who thrives on affection. Cha Cha's journey began in a challenging environment, but with kindness and patience, he quickly adapted. He became housetrained in just nine days and now relishes his outdoor adventures. He loves going for walks and has recently been enjoying playdates with other dogs, coming alive in their company. His current home is not able to provide the level of activity and companionship Cha Cha needs, leading to some boredom behaviors. He would thrive in a lively, engaging environment—preferably with another friendly dog and access to a securely fenced yard. A delightful moment from Cha Cha's life was when he alerted his owner to an unfamiliar presence, showcasing his protective instincts.
