About Lucy

Meet Lucy! This lovely mama has an incredible story and a heartwarming personality. After living alongside other stray cats for years, Lucy found herself needing a new home when her property was sold. Just before she was due to welcome another litter, her foster family stepped in, providing her with a safe haven to raise her kittens. Now it’s Lucy’s chance to be loved and spoiled. She is affectionate and adores attention, greeting you with a soft meow when you enter the room. Lucy has a charming habit of watching you leave and then waiting patiently by the door to welcome you back home. While not a lap cat, she enjoys being picked up briefly and likes affection on her own terms. Lucy gets along well with other cats, kittens, and children, making her a fantastic family companion. Though she has a laid-back demeanor, she loves a good play session, especially with her scratching post! If you want to meet Lucy, consider filling out an application through the Elk Grove Cat Rescue Group.
