About Fly
Meet Fly! This handsome 8-year-old Australian Shepherd mix embodies the spirit of an easygoing companion. Weighing around 30-32 pounds, he’s affectionate and happiest when surrounded by his people. Fly is completely house-trained, with excellent manners. He sleeps soundly in his crate through the night and patiently waits for you to wake up. A fantastic leash walker, he relishes daily walks, car rides, and a good game of fetch. His energy is low to moderate, so a good walk or some playtime each day suffices to keep him content. He warms up quickly to people and has been wonderful with kids of all ages. Although Fly is partially deaf, he responds well to physical cues. He gets along with other dogs but can get nervous if approached too closely, often barking to establish some space. He doesn’t initiate aggression; he simply needs a little room. Ideally, Fly would thrive as an only dog or with a calm canine companion who respects his comfort zone. We don't know how he interacts with cats. One of Fly's quirky traits? As soon as he sees his leash, he’s ready to go! He does need a fenced yard and will need a watchful eye around open doors as he can be quite the door-dasher. If you’re searching for a sweet and relaxed companion who enjoys a game of fetch and is always up for a car ride, Fly might just be your guy! This loving dog is waiting for a perfect home—could that be with you?
