About Cooper

Meet Cooper, the playful one-year-old Husky ready to find his forever home. Coming from the San Bernardino City Shelter, he's currently being fostered in Canoga Park and has already won over hearts in the San Fernando Valley. Cooper is the embodiment of a classic Husky—charming, talkative, and never shy about expressing himself. Expect animated greetings at the door, lively commentary on walks, and a bit of playful fuss when dinner is late. His affection knows no bounds; he's a real love bug, showering everyone with kisses, and he gets along well with kids. This handsome boy has a good temperament with dogs, although he is a bit selective with his friends. While he shows a curious side to cats when on a leash, slow introductions could lead to a successful match in a cat household with an experienced owner. Cooper is crate trained, neutered, and fully vaccinated. He's best crated for no more than 2 to 4 hours at a time and thrives in an active home, requiring 3 to 4 mile walks daily. Though he's still in playful puppy mode, he’s expected to mellow out as he matures. Cooper is available for adoption throughout the USA and is looking for a family who knows and appreciates the delightful antics of a Husky. Come meet him and see if he’s the right fit for you!
