About Norbert

Norbert is a charming 2-year-old chihuahua mix weighing in at 9.4 pounds. Initially a bit shy, he quickly opens up to reveal his sweet and playful nature. He comfortably shares his space with other small dogs, making him a great companion. Norbert has a history of seizures, which he shares with five other chihuahuas in the rescue. While they had not received veterinary care for this condition prior to their arrival, we are currently monitoring their seizure patterns to determine if medication is necessary. It’s crucial for his new adopter to collaborate closely with a veterinarian to create a care plan tailored to Norbert's needs. To adopt, prospective owners must meet him in person, as we recommend scheduling an appointment to ensure his availability at the shelter. All our dogs come fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Norbert’s adoption fee is $300, and all pets must leave the shelter securely in a carrier or on a leash.
