About Honey

Honey has recently joined the rescue and is ready for her new home! Found wandering in Nahunta, Georgia, she was thought to have a home but turned out to be living off the kindness of a good Samaritan. After her stray hold ended without a claim, one of our fosters stepped in to look after her until she finds her forever family. At about a year old, Honey is a spayed female and likely a beagle and coonhound mix. Though she's around 30 lbs, she could use a little extra weight. With a friendly demeanor, she interacts well with both people and other dogs, although she's not quite familiar with the leash or life indoors yet. Her crate training is going smoothly, which is a good start, and we're optimistic that leash training will follow suit.
