About MaRooNeeds a sidekick
Meet MaRoo — the sweet and social young dog ready to find his forever family. This handsome 18-month-old Lab/Hound mix has mastered the art of being a good companion and now seeks a loyal friend to share his life. Weighing around 38 lbs, MaRoo is friendly, playful, and charming. He’s crate trained, house trained, and eager to settle into a home environment. Living with five other dogs, he gets along well with all types, whether big, small, goofy, or bossy. MaRoo approaches new people as if they’re friends he hasn’t met yet, showing he skipped the stranger danger phase. MaRoo is polite when it comes to food and toys and only barks when it’s truly necessary. His recall is solid, though he’s still refining his leash manners. Energetic yet not overly wild, he loves to run, wrestle, and play—especially with dogs that share his enthusiasm. A securely fenced yard would be perfect for him, and he’ll eagerly accompany you on walks or jogs. While he hasn’t lived with children, his cheerful personality suggests he’d enjoy their company. However, he does need a home without cats or livestock, as chasing them is too tempting for him. Currently, MaRoo is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready for his new beginning. He’s waiting for someone to choose him and is sure to bring joy and love to their life. If you think you could be the right match for this charming boy, don't hesitate to apply!
