About Buster
Meet Buster, a 6-year-old male Domestic Shorthair who’s looking for his forever home in Worcester, MA. This big orange tabby has a personality just as vibrant as his coat. Buster’s journey began when he was spotted by local trappers from Strays of Sunshine. They recognized that he didn’t quite fit in with the others they were helping and contacted the Worcester Animal Rescue League to give him a chance at a better life. Buster is not only handsome but also has a big heart. He has been diagnosed as FIV positive, a condition that can concern some adopters. However, with proper care and a safe, loving environment, FIV-positive cats can lead long and fulfilling lives. Buster is accustomed to being indoors, enjoys good nutrition, and is ready to build a bond with a caring family. FIV is not transmissible to humans or dogs, which means Buster can comfortably coexist with canine companions. He thrives with the company of other FIV-positive cats, making him an ideal match for those who understand and appreciate what it means to love a special needs cat. Buster simply needs someone to see past that label and recognize the affectionate companion he truly is. If you’re ready to give this big boy a second chance, come meet him during our walk-in adoption hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Buster's waiting with love to give, and he's ready for a fresh start. Don't miss the opportunity to bring him home!
