About Trooper

Meet Trooper, a charming Dutch Shepherd mix who’s around a year old and full of love. This handsome boy is looking for someone who can see past his current challenges and appreciate the wonderful pet he is. Trooper walks on a leash, though he does pull a bit. With patience and training, he can improve this behavior as he has so much potential. Currently, he’s undergoing treatment for Valley Fever, and Saving Paws Rescue AZ is awaiting updated bloodwork to guide his ongoing care, which includes scheduling a neuter when the time is right. We're particularly hopeful about finding a foster-to-adopt situation for Trooper. This arrangement allows Saving Paws to support his medical needs while he continues his treatment. Trooper isn’t seeking perfection but rather a loving home willing to help him shine. Pets like Trooper, who need a little extra support, often end up leaving the biggest paw prints on our hearts. Could he be the companion you’ve been waiting for? Apply now to make a difference!
