Meet Liza! Liza is a tiny Terrier Mix around 7 years old, weighing just 9 pounds. She came to us as a stray and is now searching for her forever home. Despite initially feeling nervous in the shelter, Liza has begun to come out of her shell, especially after some one-on-one time with her human friends. In a quieter environment, she is quick to warm up, and she loves curling up on laps for gentle affection. This little pup makes a wonderful lap dog! Liza enjoys taking casual walks, sniffing all the new smells at her own pace. She’s independent and content to entertain herself as well. Soft toys are her favorite, and the squeaky ones bring her particular joy. Liza is a gentle girl who doesn’t mind being carried. She can happily live with kids aged 8 and up. While she could coexist well with another dog, she might be just as happy as the only dog in the home. A meet-and-greet with resident dogs will ensure a good match. She can potentially live with a dog-savvy cat after proper introductions.
