Though she is currently unaltered, Asha is always affectionate and friendly, particularly with children, as she thrives on companionship. Asha is a loving 2-year-old Doberman who has overcome more challenges than many dogs face in their lives. After losing her home and becoming a mother in a shelter, she was lucky to enter rescue. Asha proved to be a fabulous mom to her puppies, all of whom have found their loving homes, and now it’s her turn. True to Doberman nature, Asha thrives on companionship and enjoys being close to her humans—she’s definitely a Velcro dog. Very affectionate, she has a special bond with the 8-year-old in her foster home. While she may be cautious around new men at first, patience is key, and she warms up beautifully. Asha enjoys the playful company of calm male dogs and still exhibits the lovable goofiness typical of her breed. Asha is crate trained, although she certainly voices her preference to be with people instead. She is also mostly housebroken and making excellent progress in her foster environment. After dedicating herself to her puppies, Asha is now ready for the love, patience, and forever home she richly deserves. She’s looking to become someone’s cherished, spoiled girl.
